Manchester United FC, also known as Man United or MUFC, is considered the biggest soccer club in England and one of the biggest soccer clubs in Europe. Nicknamed the Red Devils, MUFC has won the UEFA Champions League three times throughout its illustrious history. Here are brief histories of Man United's UEFA Champions League (UCL) triumphs:

1. Season 1967-68. Manchester United won its first UCL trophy in the 1968 season. The final was played at Wembley stadium in London, where Man United beat Benfica of Portugal 4-1. The manager of this MUFC team was Sir Matt Busby, and the team was led by midfielder Bobby Charlton and winger George Best.

2. Season 1998-99. Manchester United's second UCL trophy came in 1999, 31 years after the triumph in London. Man United defeated Bayern Munich of Germany in the final that was played at Camp Nou in Barcelona, Spain. The match is best remembered for the two goals that the Red Devils scored in the injury time to beat Bayern Munich 2-1. The manager of this 1999 MUFC team was the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson, and the team was led by skipper Roy Keane and star midfielders David Beckham and Ryan Giggs.

3. Season 2007-08. Manchester United won its third UCL trophy in 2008. The final was contested between Man United and Chelsea FC of England, making it the first final in history that featured two English teams. The final was held at Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow, marking the first time that a Champions League final was played in Russia. The match itself was decided by a penalty shootout, which the Red Devils won 6-5. The manager of this 2008 MUFC team was once again Sir Alex Ferguson.
